Lithuanians and Latvians may be compared in the following way: the Prussian Lithuanian could be assumed to be equal to Curonian and Vidzeme Latvian with their culture and economic situation. Lithuanian from Lithuania was equal to Latgalian: lagging behind, stupid, illiterate, poor. There is no other language in the world that is so close to Lithuanian.

This time your travel luggage is the Lithuanian national broadcaster’s (LRT) TV series „Stop juosta“ (“Stop Line”): together with the experts, not only we will explore, touch, learn about architecture and heritage but also sometimes slip through boarded-up doors or windows... Some buildings are gone... This is the message of the European modernist heritage of the beginning of the 20th century to a modern man. Modernism is a dialogue between cultures, search for identity, guarantee of success and progress. In the interwar period, not only Lithuania but also neighbouring countries - Poland, Latvia, and Belarus – were emerging.
